Little Mix: The Search can be considered a pretty acclaimed project by all the critics and the fans, which kicked off to a great start. But as of right now, it is being pressured to halt all its production process. The news media outlets reported it just at the start of this week that BBC has delayed the talent competition at short notice. This was dome because a small amount of the staff engaging in the process of production was tested positive for the deadly Corona Virus.
Of course, this was a big issue. I mean, everybody can wait until the situation is handled professionally with proper medical aid and ensuring that no one else gets COVID-19. All this while, it was confirmed that the band, Little Mix, have tested negative for the virus and are safe right now. The group includes Leigh Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirwall, and Jesy Nelson. This is why the filming could not start again on the set of Little Mix: The Search after following all the guidelines that have been issued by the government to prevent the spreading of this virus.
- Little Mix: BBC has delayed the Search
Little Mix: The Search―Release Date Delayed!
The first live episode of the show was supposed to come out on the screen of all the fans back on the 16th of October 2020, but it clearly did not. The show was scheduled for the 7 PM slot, but as if right now, the place left vacant by it has been filled by an edition of Pointless Celebrities. This battle of the band’s installment was supposed to get itself hosted by Chris Ramsay, who is a comedian. This show was also expected to feature various talented performances from the Little Mix: The Search and its contestants.
Well, as long as everyone is safe, every fan would actually understand how this delay was necessary. It comes after a small group of the show’s own production crew was tested positive for the virus. Back on the 14th of October, the creators of this iconic show released a statement saying that they are confirming that a small number of people on Little Mix: The Search have tested positively for the fatal virus, and as of right now, everyone is self-isolating themselves after following the guidelines issued by the country’s government.
Little Mix: The Search―When will the show launch on BBC?
They also address the show’s delay, saying it was because of the format of Little Mix: The Search that they have decided to let it pause for a potential while. They disclose how there are rigid protocols in the place to manage all the patients of the Corona Virus, and the ones who are not infected are kept safe. This is major because the health of everyone who is involved in the project comes as the top priority. BBC also reveals how they are currently planning to come back with this show on the 24th of October 2020, but obviously, this is not sure.
