An intriguing question for first dates has been revealed by Olivia Rodrigo. During an interview with Netflix, shared on Instagram on November 1, the 21-year-old “Vampire” singer discussed one of her dating “red flags.”

While talking about the meaning behind the various signature tees she wore on stage for her Guts World Tour, including one that said “Dump Him” — which she described as a “classic homage to Miss Britney Spears” — Rodrigo uncovered her unique method for assessing compatibility on dates.

Olivia Rodrigo reveals a unique first date question about space travel

She explained, “The biggest red flag, okay, this is a very oddly specific question that I ask guys on first dates. I always ask them if they would want to go to space.” With a smile, she added, “And if they say yes, I don’t date them. I just think if you want to go to space, you’re a little too full of yourself.”

In addition to her dating preferences, Rodrigo shared that Sex and the City ranks among her favorite shows and expressed her support for Team Aidan, referencing John Corbett’s character. “Mr. Big sucks,” she remarked, referring to Chris Noth’s character, who was also a love interest for Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker. “But we’ve all dated guys like that. You can’t let them go. But yeah, Aidan for the win.”

Currently, Rodrigo is in a relationship with Louis Partridge. Speculation regarding their romance began last year, and they appeared to confirm the relationship when photos of them kissing in New York City surfaced in December.

Previously, the Sour singer accompanied the Enola Holmes star to the Venice Film Festival in August, where she publicly supported him with a heartfelt TikTok post. Partridge later seemed to acknowledge his travels with Rodrigo during her tour when he posted a photo of her in a carousel on Instagram in October.
