Diddy Saw His Arrest Coming Over His Parties Back in 1999

American Rapper, Diddy

Long before federal agents uncovered his controversial “freak-offs,” Diddy had already predicted that his notorious parties would land him in trouble. In a resurfaced interview from 1999 with ET, the 54-year-old star stated, “They won’t even give me a permit for the parties, they don’t want me to throw the parties no more.”

Despite the challenges, Diddy remained defiant, vowing to continue hosting events that brought people together from all backgrounds. Known for his lavish celebrations, Diddy boasted about their scale, believing they were so extravagant that it was only a matter of time before authorities intervened.

Diddy offered his $48 million Miami mansion as collateral for bail, but the judge denied his appeal, citing flight risk concerns

During the interview, he hinted that his parties might eventually lead to his arrest. He expressed, “You gon hear about my parties… They gon probably be arresting me.

Doing all types of crazy things just because we wanna have a good time.” Diddy explained that many felt threatened by the different atmosphere he introduced at his events, which broadened people’s horizons.

When asked how it felt to throw the most exclusive parties in town, Diddy downplayed any sense of ego, insisting it didn’t make him feel special. “It doesn’t make me feel like a bigger person,” he replied, smiling. “It just makes me feel like I know how to throw a party.”

These old comments resurfaced shortly after Diddy’s arrest on September 16, where he was charged with multiple crimes, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

Taken into custody at a New York hotel, the music mogul pleaded not guilty but was denied bond after the grand jury’s indictment was revealed. The indictment described how Diddy orchestrated elaborate “Freak Offs” involving coerced sexual activities, dating back to 2009.

His team reportedly booked hotel rooms for these events, and sex workers were allegedly transported across state lines. The indictment detailed Diddy’s direct involvement in organizing, filming, and even participating in these activities.

Since his arrest, social media has resurfaced clips of celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber discussing or attending Diddy’s infamous parties.

The Grand Jury further alleged that Diddy had abused and coerced numerous women, using his power and influence to maintain his reputation while concealing his misconduct.

Diddy’s legal troubles escalated after a lengthy investigation, which led to raids on his Los Angeles and Miami properties. During the searches, authorities seized various items linked to the “Freak Offs,” including narcotics and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.

Appearing in court on September 18, Diddy offered to put up his $48 million Miami mansion and his mother’s house as collateral in a bid for bail. However, the judge denied his appeal after prosecutors argued that he posed a flight risk and should remain in custody.
