Cole Hauser, known for his iconic roles in movies like School Ties, Dazed and Confused, and Good Will Hunting, has recently captured audiences’ attention as the rugged Rip Wheeler in Yellowstone.
While viewers may be accustomed to seeing him alongside Kelly Reilly on-screen, his real-life partner is Cynthia Daniel, who has been with him since the 1990s. They married in 2006 and share three children together.
Hauser opened up to People in November 2020, reflecting on their 25-year relationship. He shared, “We’ve been through many highs and lows, but we’ve stayed strong and battled through everything with love.” Looking ahead, he expressed a desire to relax in the future with Cynthia, envisioning themselves on a quiet beach once their children have grown and left home.
Cynthia, an accomplished photographer, is also a twin. She and her sister Brittany Daniel began modeling at the age of 11 and were famously known as the Doublemint Twins in ads. While Brittany continued acting, Cynthia shifted her focus to photography, even creating a lifestyle blog called The Sweet Life with her sister.
The duo maintains a close bond, and their mutual support was evident when Cynthia donated eggs to Brittany after her cancer diagnosis in 2011, enabling her sister to have a child.
Cynthia’s acting career began in the ’80s, starring alongside her twin in Sweet Valley High and appearing in The Basketball Diaries with Leonardo DiCaprio.
After taking a break from acting, Cynthia returned to the screen in 2022 with Brittany for the Disney+ remake of Cheaper by the Dozen. She also runs her own photography business, Five Arrows Photography, where she captures everything from family moments to celebrity portraits.
As a mother, Cynthia has been a constant support for her children and Hauser. Their eldest son, Ryland, was born in 2004, followed by Colt in 2008, and Steely Rose in 2013.
In 2022, she posted a heartfelt tribute to Hauser on Father’s Day, expressing gratitude for his dedication to their family. Hauser has spoken fondly of Cynthia’s influence on their children, noting that she has a way of keeping him grounded, especially with their daughter Steely.
The couple, who have been together since the ’90s, sail through their long-term relationship despite Hauser’s demanding schedule. He has shared that being away for filming takes a toll but they manage to stay connected through frequent visits and family getaways.
In fact, Cynthia was instrumental in helping Hauser enjoy his work, including moments like rubbing his feet after a long week of filming. They also attend public events together, including premieres and award shows.
Through their shared experiences, including battling cancer and supporting each other’s careers, Cynthia remains Hauser’s “rock,” a role he proudly acknowledges. Their connection is clear both on social media, where Cynthia often posts about her family, and in interviews where she shares personal insights about their life together.
In a 2023 Instagram post from their trip to Italy, Cynthia expressed her love for Hauser, writing, “My favorite place to be is in your arms.” The couple’s bond is evident, whether they are attending events or simply spending time together as a family.
