While celebrating her new Netflix special, Sabrina Carpenter was seen in high spirits just two days after Page Six reported her breakup with Barry Keoghan. The “Espresso” singer attended a screening of A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter in New York City on Thursday night.
For the event, Carpenter donned a vintage Chanel Karl Lagerfeld black and white faux fur cashmere minidress, complemented by a black fur coat. She completed her look with matching black open-toed heels adorned with white fur accents.
The 25-year-old, a six-time Grammy nominee, styled her signature blonde hair in loose curls, opting for a half-up, half-down hairstyle. Her accessories included simple diamond stud earrings, and she finished the look with dark red lipstick.
Before entering the Paris Theater for the debut of her special, which premieres on Netflix Friday at 9 p.m. ET, Carpenter was spotted smiling and waving to fans. This outing marked her first public appearance since the announcement of her split from Keoghan, 32, after a year of dating.
A source revealed to People that the couple decided to take a break, emphasizing their youth and career focus. Meanwhile, an Instagram gossip account, Deuxmoi, shared a blind item suggesting that Carpenter ended the relationship upon discovering that Keoghan had been in communication with an influencer behind her back for months.
The tipster claimed that the “Saltburn” star was seen getting close to a blonde influencer from Los Angeles, known for her popularity on TikTok. Speculation arose that Breckie Hill, a 21-year-old TikTok star who fits the description, might be the unnamed influencer.
Hill further fueled the rumors by posting videos that seemed to reference the situation. In one clip, she enjoyed a “kinda salty” margarita, a possible nod to Keoghan’s film Saltburn, and in another, she sipped a “blackberry smash,” which could relate to his name.
As of now, Carpenter, Keoghan, and Hill have not directly addressed the circulating rumors. However, Olivia Dunne, a rival gymnast to Hill, joined the fray by posting a TikTok video accusing Hill of “homewrecking.” Dunne commented that “when her true colors are finally revealed in the national media,” the truth will come to light.
