Well, the Jurassic World Dominion release date has been delayed by a year to June of 2022. Obviously, it was clear that even in the earliest days when the pandemic started, Hollywood would have some post-COVID crisis too beyond 2020. In some of the recent weeks of these months, we have almost all the studios rearranging their release slates and pushing back several highly appreciated projects back much further than originally thought.
There are still many Corona Virus cases rising, mainly in America, that have struggled to maintain this deadly virus’s growth. Even studios have decided that it is time to delay their tentpoles rather than risk releasing them during the unprecedented and uncertain durations.
Jurassic World Dominion―Release Date and Poster!
The film by Universal has now become one of those titles that are pretty affected by the pandemic. The cast and crew of this film started production earlier this year but had to shut down everything in the middle of March before things take a nasty turn. In July, the whole crew was back on track once again to shoot Jurassic World Dominion, and it has been moving along quite smoothly for now. And even though it has fortunately avoided any sorts of setbacks in this task, Jurassic World Dominion is feeling the effects of the pandemic.
Jurassic World Dominion release date has been shifted to the 10tb of June 2022, exactly one year after the original date. This was announced by Universal Studios themselves officially. The original release date of the film was the 11th of June 2021. We also have Colin Trevorrow himself, who took to his personal Twitter handle to update us about the delay and shared a potential poster that we can see in the space provided below.
For the past three months, I’ve worked with an extraordinary cast and crew on a film we can’t wait to share with the world. Even though we'll have to wait a bit longer, it will all be worth it. Let’s stay healthy and take care of each other until then. pic.twitter.com/vnGzhHs4nR

Jurassic World Dominion―Delayed by a Year!
Well, from the looks of it, Universal has really motivated to move Jurassic World Dominion to put it in a better place to be successful. We all saw how much delays have taken place in 2020, and all the tentpoles about this year have relocated themselves to 2021. This even includes the Fast and Furious 9 by Universal Pictures. Hopefully, its delayed release date has not been further delayed till now and is scheduled to come out just two weeks before the original release date of Jurassic World Dominion. The previous two films of Jurassic World have both grossed more than 1 billion US dollars, and thus, everyone is expecting the same from this third installment.
