David James Myers, better known by his stage name Hairy Baikers, is an English television presenter best known for being one-half of the Hairy Bikers. He’s also known for his appearances on the BBC’s celebrity talent show Strictly Come Dancing. Myers and King have worked together on a number of food series for the BBC. They’ve also released their product, The Hairy Bikers Diet Club.
David Myers was born in the English town of Barrow-in-Furness. Hairy Dieters: How to Love Food and Lose Weight (2012), Hairy Bikers’ Mississippi Adventure (2012), and Fortress 2 are among his credits (2000). Since January 8, 2011, he has been married to Liliana Orzac.
Hairy Bikers came into being when David Myers and Simon King saw each other for the first time in 1995 on the TV drama, The Gambling Man. Both men have worked in film production and wanted to bring something new to the table for the viewer. As a result, they decided to create cooking TV shows featuring never-before-seen original content.
Dave Myers’ Early years and net worth
Myers’ father worked as a foreman at a paper industry in Barrow-in-Furness, where he was born. At Barrow-in-Furness Grammar School for Boys, he was taught by Mr. Eaton, an outstanding art teacher. He got a master’s degree in art history and a bachelor’s degree in fine art at Goldsmiths, University of London. As a student, Dave purchased his first motorbike, a Cossack Ural Mars Mk III, with a sidecar.
Myers went on to work as a professional prosthetics make-up artist after that. In 1995, he met Si King on the set of the TV show The Gambling Man.
Dave Myers has a total net worth, which is believed to be somewhere around the figure of 5 million dollars. Dave has amassed such a sizable fortune from his work as a celebrity chef and television personality over the course of years.
Dave Myers Wife
When it came to discussing marital life, Dave was just as secretive as his mate Simon. Dave has already married twice. His first wife and the circumstances surrounding their divorce are unknown. Dave, on the other hand, married a Romanian woman named Liliana Orzac for the second time. The couple tied the knot in 2011.
The couple has been raising two children from Liliana Orzac’s previous relationship. Dave does not have his biological children.
Dave Myers and Si King in Hairy Bikers
In 1995, Myers met Si King on the set of the TV show The Gambling Man. King previously worked on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone as an assistant location manager and then on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as the location manager.
On the BBC’s The Hairy Bikers’ Cookbook, Myers and Si King played Hairy Bikers. The Hairy Bikers’ Cookbook is a blend of food and travelogue that follows Keith Floyd’s format and approach, including the tendency of referring to the cameraman and other crew members regularly.
On August 24, 2009, the duo hosted BBC Two’s The Hairy Bikers’ Food Tour of Britain, a 30-part daytime series. Every day, they would travel to a different county and prepare what they regarded to be that area’s trademark cuisine. On weekdays, the show aired.
In January 2010, BBC Two aired a six-part series called The Hairy Bikers: Mums Know Best. The Hairy Bikers’ Cook-Off, a new 40-episode series, premiered on BBC Two on October 25, 2019. A cook-off between two families and celebrity visitors was part of the event.
In March 2012, Good Food premiered The Hairy Biker’s Mississippi Adventure, the duo’s first series on the network. Mentorn Media produced the series, and the Bikers’ first interactive iOS app, which was also produced by Mentorn, was published to go along with it.
From January to May 2010, the team performed their Big Night Out show in theaters around the United Kingdom. Bob Mortimer is the show’s director. It was a great combination of cooking and chatting, with a little song and dancing thrown in for good measure. Big Night Out delves into their early years, how they met, and their passion for food.
