Well, well, well, Godzilla vs. Kong is a forthcoming American film, which is all about deadly monsters trying to take over the world. The task of direction on this project has been handled professionally by director Adam Wingard.
This tale can be considered as a sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters as well as Kong: Skull Island. It is also going to serve as the fourth film in Monster Verse by Legendary. The film Godzilla vs. Kong will be the 36th film in the franchise of Godzilla and the 12th one in the King Kong film franchise. Another huge title has been added to the film in the fourth film to get a complete production from a Hollywood Studio.

The official address was provided to this iconic project back in October of 2015 when Legendary was the one to announce various plans for a shared cinematic universe between the two biggest fictional monsters existent in the history of films, that is, King Kong and Godzilla.
Later in 2017, a group of writers was brought together, and the studios officially confirmed that Adam Wingard is going to serve the tale in the form of a director. The process of principal photography on Godzilla vs. Kong started back in November of 2018 in various beautiful locations such as Hawaii, Australia, and Hong Kong. It was finished in April of 2019.

Thus, this sets the table to see the two most powerful forces of nature on this planet set against each other in a spectacular battle that will satisfy our hunger for ages.
We will see how Monarch is embarking on a perilous mission into an unchartered location and finds out some clues about
the origin of the Titans and the conspiracy of humans, which acts as a threat to wipe all the creatures who are both good and bad from the surface of Earth forever.

Godzilla vs. Kong release date is set to be on the 21st of 2021 in the United States, and it will be available in 2D, 3D, and IMAX. The distribution of Godzilla vs. Kong has been handled professionally by Warner Brothers Pictures except in Japan, though the distribution will occur by Toho.
As you guys know, there were plenty of delays during production on the film itself when it was earlier scheduled for a release date in various months of 2020 itself. But we should keep the fact in mind that this decision was taken before COVID-19 rocked our world.
