When Will Dune Part 2 Release And Where To Watch It?

Dune hit the theaters last year in October 2021, and with its release, it swiftly took people by storm. Sci-fi enthusiasts were mesmerized by the work of Denis Villeneuve and admired the never-done-before storyline. The ending left people in anticipation, and they eagerly waited for the release of Dune part 2. The second part of Dune has started with its production, and Sci-fi fans have already commenced predicting what can happen in the sequel and how things would go down the road. The movie will take off exactly where it left in the first part. Timothee Chalamet (Paul Atreides) would be seen seeking revenge against those who wrecked his family on the desert planet of Arrakis.

The first part turned out to be a super hit and made a profit of $108.3M at the USA box office. That’s not it. This film was loved worldwide as it hit the $400M mark at the worldwide box office. People say that apart from the mind-gripping story and screenplay, the great selection of the cast also made it a fun watch. In the first part of Dune, you could see many versatile actors coming together and merging beautifully to make this movie. Dune Part 2: Things You Need To Know

The story, set in the distant future, revolves around Paul Atreides. A young boy who is set to travel to a different planet. This planet is considered to be the most dangerous planet in the universe. He starts this journey to ensure the safety of his people and family. It is an American adaptation of a novel by Frank Herbert, which he wrote in 1965.

The movie ends with a cliffhanger when Chani smiles up to Paul at the end of the movie and tells him that “This is only the beginning.” This made people impatiently wait for part two of Dune to hit the screens.

The release date of the second part of Dune has been announced. The awaited movie will be available to watch on 17th November 2023!

The shooting has begun in Italy, along with Hungary and Jordan. There is not going to be a lot of change in the cast and crew. Many old faces, on and behind the screen, would also be spotted in the second part. Although, there will be few new faces. Those are Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Lea Seydoux, and Christopher Walken.

As revealed by a few sources, the second part will concentrate on IMAX footage. It will have more of it in comparison to the first part of the movie.

Where to watch Part 2 Of Dune?

The first part was introduced amid the global pandemic. Because of that reason, the movie was released in a hybrid mode due to restrictions in theatrical releases, where Warner Brothers partnered with HBO Max, and the film was released on it.

Although the worldwide situation is improving, the second part of the awaited movie will get an exclusive theatrical release.
