The remake of the 2013 Korean series, The Good Doctor, was released in the USA in the year 2017. Since then, the show is gaining so much popularity that five seasons of the show have already been aired. As the show is in its sixth season now, fans are anticipating an exciting plot this time as well.
The four episodes of Good Doctor season 6 have already been aired following the intriguing storyline, which, again, this year will continue until 22 episodes. The Good Doctor follows a story of an autistic surgeon who starts working in a prominent hospital in California. Because he is an autistic person, he gets mistreated by his co-workers. The Good Doctor Season 6 – Synopsis Of The Previous Episodes
This year, an interesting plotline for The Good Doctor’s Season 6 has been developed. At the end of season five, Dr. Shaun Murphy marries Lea Dilallo, and at the start of episode one of season six, Shaun and Lea plan a wedding reception. However. Shaun worries about the safety of his loved ones when he receives a call stating that a terror incident took place at the hospital, where a terrorist dressed as hospital personnel broke into the building.
As he arrives at the hospital, he finds out that Nurse Villanueva and Lim are already got stabbed. In the traumatizing grief, Shaun, with his wife Lea, Allen, and Glassman, performs surgery on Lim. Even after a successful surgery with lots of effort, Lim becomes paralyzed. During the surgery, Shaun, as an autistic person, also gets panic attacks due to Lim’s heart failures. Also, he starts getting flashbacks from his past.
After a few days of recovery, Lim, who is paralyzed, returns to work in a wheelchair. Others believe that Shaun caused Lim to become disabled and that since he performed the procedure against the Glassman’s directives, things between Shaun and Lim would now become awkward. Lim appreciates Shaun’s efforts to save her life, though. Additionally, Shaun is already at the beginning of his first day of surgery, attending with other residents after successfully completing his surgical training.
After facing a hard day at work, Lim gets so tired and traumatized about her being paralyzed. Even though she thanks Shaun for saving her life, she also confesses that she thinks it’s Shaun’s fault that she is paralyzed now. The next day, Lim requests her M&M reports to know what exactly Shaun did while performing surgery on her, and as she finds out that Shaun ignored Glassman’s orders and performed a different process, she gets furious. She also asks Glassman about the same, and Glassman confesses that he was angry when Shaun ignored his orders. The furious Lim then visits Shaun and breaks her friendship with him.
Apparently, Shaun, in constant worry about the broken bond between Lim and him, starts thinking about how he can recover his friendship with her. Even though he is in worry when Lea asks Shaun about Lim, he says he is okay. In the fourth episode of The Good Doctor, Doctors perform surgery on the military Re-enactor and save his life, who put shrapnel in his arm for the fun re-enactment.
At night, as Shaun discovers the way to treat Lim’s paralysis, he goes and visits Glassman to discuss the same.
