Marvel’s upcoming film, that is, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, employs actor Simu Liu in the titular role. Not a long time ago, we had the star who took an opportunity to remind fans of just how shredded he has been for his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All this while, he might also be teasing about his forthcoming project. On his personal Instagram handle, we had actor Simu Liu write the following three words; Rehabilitate, Recover, Return. He says that the next journey is waiting for all of us.

He says that this project has taken on hours and physical labor and potential bumps with scrapes that were already guaranteed. Simu says that no matter what the challenge is, his team is all ready, and obviously, the higher the mountain, the harder the climb is. We all are aware of the fact that Liu started flexing about his transformation around the same time as a fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe star, that is, Nanjing from Eternals. These two actors have even teased about a crossover that might include their impressive physiques.

After the production process was facing troubles originated by the pandemic of Coronavirus, the principal photography sessions finally wrapped up on Shang-Chi back in October. At that point in time, Liu came up to say that their crew has got everything done. He said that this process was just like a marathon and was pretty unique. According to him, it was broken up by the colossal chaos caused by the fatal Coronavirus, and the world literally changed after it.

You guys should know that this film has been directed by Dustin Daniel Cretton while its screenplay has been done by Daniel Callaham. The film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings employs actor Simu Liu and Tony Leung, and Awkwafina. The release date of the film has been scheduled for the 9th of July 2021 in theatres. All this while, we have actress Awkwafina joining the cast list in the form of Fah Lo Suee or also known as Zheng Bao Yu.

Awkwafina’s character might mean some real trouble!

This character happens to be the daughter of villainous Zheng Zu as well as the half-sister to Shang-Chi. At this point in time, this character’s ties to the hero Shang-Chi are pretty clear, but Zheng Bao Yu can be considered as more of a villain or maybe an anti-hero herself. If she is set to appear in this upcoming film, we can expect a variety of dangerous alien species such as The Brood who would accompany her. This might be the opposite force for Shang-Chi in the film to fight against. In the comics, we have seen that Zheng Bao Yu leads the Celestial Order of the Hai Dai, which is an order of ninjas loyal to her father.
