The streamer is now providing the show with a green light to create a further batch of episodes comprising the third season. It was recently announced by the creators that they would release For All Mankind season 2 somewhere in February of 2021. This show can be considered as one of the three series which have been renewed by Apple TV plus along with the fantasy series of Jason Momoa called See as well as Dickinson.
You guys should know that For All Mankind throws the entire spotlight to an alternate history where the space race between the United States and Russia never came to a stop. The second installment is set to start in 1983, when the Cold War was at its peak. The fans will be able to witness The United States and the Soviets getting into a heated race to extract materials from the moon. All this while, we saw that NASA was getting militarized by the Department of Defense. The show narrates the story of a variety of characters. We even see their reactions to the events. This is when humankind is existing at the height of a conflict that might even mean nuclear war.

According to their official description, it can be known that For All Mankind explores the possibilities that might happen if the global space race never came to an end. The show presents an aspirational universe where NASA astronauts and the engineers with their families find themselves in the epicenter of some of the extraordinary events that have been witnessed through the prism of an alternate history timeline. This is the world where the USSR beats the United States to the moon.
For All Mankind Season, 2 and 3 will be created by Ronald D. Moore and Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi. The show employs actors such as Joel Kinnaman, Sarah Jones, Wrenn Schmidt, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey W., Micahel Dorman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, and Coral Peña. For All Mankind Season 2 release date has been scheduled for the 19th of February 2021.

Also, we now have a trailer for the upcoming installment. It unveils with a voiceover from a real-life speech given back in 1983 by President Ronald Reagan. It starts with him stating as plainly as he can. He says that the biggest threat that is cast to the United States by the Soviet Union. The trailer comes to an end with an ominous shot of astronauts from NASA armed with guns that have apparently been designed to fire on the moon. This show first came out back in November of 2019.
