The year 2020 and a series of lockdowns and preventions due to the global health crisis has largely affected all the movie fans, especially when it comes to marvel geeks. This year witnessed no new releases. Projects like Black Widow, Eternals, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier were all pushed forward.
But this doesn’t mean the marvel world isn’t preparing to come up with a blast. The team is putting efforts and is continuing productions, developing advanced projects, and getting in position for a series of releases to woo the audience with their magic they manage to come up with ever-single-time. The Marvel world, along with Disney+, can extend their storytelling way to a whole new level. They’re able to tell their stories through Avengers series that go along with their theatrical releases, thus diversifying their horizons to a new extent.
MCU’s President, Feige, unveiled a total of 25 upcoming Marvel projects at Disney’s investors, which was absolutely dynamic and irresistible for all of us. The conference came up with many details, their casting, the release dates, and most importantly-their teasers. The 30 seconds clips showcased glimpses of our much-awaited television series, featuring the popular actors from the Hollywood film fraternity.
The first project on our waiting list WandaVision, Disney+’s first Marvel series, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany in lead roles. The show is set to hit the screens in just a few weeks. The other project on our waiting list is Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston as the Asgardian character-the God of Mischief. It is due to be released around May 2021, with no specifications about the exact date. Falcon and the Winter Soldier, starring Sebastian Stan, who will reprise his role along with Anthony Mackie, is believed to hit the screens around October 2021. The series will portray the events before the Avengers: Endgame.
Then comes a unique project on the list of announcements. That is our beloved Pakistani-American superhero Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, starring Iman Vellani, who was cast via virtual auditions during the quarantine. The series will witness the debut of the fictional superhero into Marvel’s theatrical world. The series will revolve around the life of a teenage girl who discovers her superpowers under the hindrance of being a Muslim American. The series is expected to release by the end of 2021.

Apart from all the above-mentioned shows, Disney+ also has an animated alternate universe show, What If, in its bag of premieres. The show would be a description and a series of events depicting what would have happened to the marvel universe if things happened differently and unusually than the present scenarios. This animated show’s cast will include Chadwick Boseman, Hayley Atwell, Jackson, Natalie Portman, Hiddleston, Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, and many more actors, who’d be lending their voices. The show would be narrated by Jeffrey Wright.
So the fans can expect to be overwhelmed with the year 2021 and witness some amazing upcoming projects of their favorite MCU.
