Based on the book written by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton, the series Tiny Pretty Things revolves around the world of a fictional elite ballet academy and deals with the rise and fall of young dancers who have their eyes set on a particular goal of being the best. The young adult series is based on a novel by the same name, written by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton, that begins with a shocking tragedy. This serves as bait to keep the audiences hooked to their screens to determine why a star ballet student’s mysterious death. Following her death, the fictional school offers her spot to another student who is now a part of an unknown journey where she discovers a maze of dark secrets embedded behind the curtains.
The school holds students from all over the world, with varying backgrounds and serves as the company school for the city’s renowned professional company: City Works Ballet. The students of the ballet academy share one thing in common- their rare talent, which gives them a one time opportunity to be a part of the institution and live their dreams of being a passionate dancer. The plot mainly revolves around three ballet dancers- Neveah, Bette, and June and what all it takes for them to turn their dreams into reality. The students soon realize that “perfection comes with a high price.” The trailer is chilling with elements of mystery and suspense. And the only question you’re left with is- “who pushed the star ballet student, Cassie Shore, from the rooftop?”
The ballerina dance drama show is an absolute delight to binge-watch. The thrilling plotlines, the charismatic performances, and the mesmerizing acting will keep you invested since the first episode itself. But are we going to have a second season for the same? Well, it’s pretty early to assume since Netflix’s renewal policy totally depends on the show’s numbers. Besides, the book has a sequel to it, named Shiny Broken Pieces, that begins from the same plot where the first book ends. There’s enough content for a new season, and we can be pretty hopeful to have a second season to the show by the end of 2021 or by 2022.
