The Sitcom Series created by Jared Keeso has come a long way since the very premiering season on Youtube. This series, which is now a Hulu Original show, has made a fanbase for the past 8 seasons. And there is no wonder the fans getting this much excitement for Letterkenny Season 9. But there is more to get excited about, which we will be discussing later in this article.
The story has been set in a small rural Ontario town. The people in this small town have been divided into Hicks, Skids, and hockey players. The community is anding with residents from a first Nations reserve, Quebecois, and even a local Mennonites cadre. And our protagonists of this sitcom have been divided across those three groups. The Hicks are lead by jawed Wayne (played by Jared Keeso) and her sister Katy (Michelle Mylett), the enthusiastic but awkward Daryl (Nathan Dales), and Dan (K. Trevor Wilson), who always makes every world plural (weird, right?). These people are a group of mostly farmers.

The second set of people are interesting. They are called Skids, and they are always high on drugs. These people are always on burnouts by using any available drugs, which means every kind of drug, which seems like they are not having any health issues! No, this world won’t ever be a reality). These people are lead by Dealer Stewart (Tyler Johnston) along with his faithful companion Roald (Evan Stern)
On the Hockey side, there is Reilly (Dylan Playfair) and Jonesy (Andrew here). We also have local Pastor Glen (Tiemey), a ceaseless horny bar proprietor Gail (Lisa Codrington), Tanis (Kaniehtiio Horn), and the universally adored Bonnie McMurray (Kamilla Kowal). The show is set around these characters and how they interact with each other.
The studio announced Letterkenny Season 9 back in July and is now premiering on 26th December this year, making it a perfect new year gift for the fans. Even though we are saying it the ninth season, this series only had fifty-six episodes so far. This is because the series only airs twelve episodes per season. And this time also there is no change. Still twelve episodes in this season too. The storyline will pick up from where it was left in the last season.
Wait, there is more! It is expected that by the time of January, The production house will start production of not only ye tenth but also the eleventh season too! This means that we won’t have to wait much longer for these upcoming seasons.
