Another eye-grabbing element of the show is Veer Singh, played by the heartthrob of Indian Television-Shaheer Sheikh. He has always been playing the character of a boy next door, but his charisma in the erotic period drama as a flamboyant warrior doesn’t seem to fade. Other than the mentioned character revelations, Milind Suman plays the character of a transgender man, who makes his entry with the dialogue “hum na raja na praja, hum Boris hain: I’m neither the king nor the people of the kingdom, I’m Boris.” He is a eunuch who believes in equality of both the genders and challenges the patriarchy and the kingdom openly. He is the sole support of women and is ready to be a savior. But will he be successful in his ambitions?
