As the fight on the levitating Onigashima rages on, the straw hats are headed to the dome’s roof. On the other hand, Yamato tells Momonosuke how Ace had arrived at Onigashima three years ago to fight Kaido. But as he wasn’t around, Yamato fought him. During the fight, Ace realizes that Yamato herself hates Kaido. Meanwhile, Zoro reaches the top floor, now confronting King and Queen. On the roof, Big Mom asks Kaido to kill every straw hat except for Robin. To which Kaido reveals his intention to place the Onigashima in the location of Kozuki Palace. Big Mom enquires Kaido regarding the location of road Ponegylph as a way to pay her back for the favor she did for him by giving him his devil fruit 38 years ago. One Piece Chapter 1000 Recap
As Luffy heads to the roof, Marco throws Zoro up there. Meanwhile, Yamato reveals to Momonosuke that Oden predicted in his logbook that over 20 years in the future, powerful pirates leading a new generation would come into the New World. And if he did not survive by then, they will take down Kaido. Just as Yamato recounts this, Luffy, Zoro, Law, Kid, and Killer confront Kaido and Big Mom on the Dome’s roof. As Luffy sees the Nine Red Scabbards defeated, he goes to talk to Kin’emon. As Kaido charges towards them, Luffy asks Law to move the Scabbards inside the Dome. After which, he leaps over Kaido and proceeds to strike him in the face with Gomu Gomu no Red Roc that sends him crashing to the ground. Luffy then claims that he is the one who will surpass Kaido and Big Mom and become the Pirate King.

Yamato and Ace
Yamato reminisces about how she met Ace. Ace revealed to her that Luffy wanted to become the Pirate King and how she had read the exact words in Kozuki Oden’s logbook, in which he quoted the Pirate King Roger. Just when Ace was about to depart, Yamato made him a Vivre Card so they could find each other again someday. But one day, Yamato’s portion of the card disappeared, meaning Ace had passed away.
One Piece Chapter 1001 Release Date

One Piece Chapter 1001 Spoilers
We already have a few supposed leaks surface regarding One Piece Chapter 1001. According to several sources, this chapter will cover the long-awaited battle between the Yonko Tag-team (Kaido and Big Mom) and the Supernovas (Luffy, Zoro, Law, Killer, Trafalgar, and Kid). We would reportedly see Kaido bleeding after he gets punched by Luffy. As Big Mom charges towards him, Zoro launches his attack to defend Luffy. The spoilers even claimed as the situation is bad for the Supernovas as they are seen bleeding with Killer’s mask cracked. Some leaks even suggest that the chapter will cover parts of Kaido’s backstory.
Many fans believe that these leaks are fake as it’s too early, but only time will tell as we close down on this epic fight soon.
