Superstore

Secondly, it throws the spot on Jonah, a newly recruited employee, an innocent dreamer who hates being a part of the serious environment at a workplace. He thinks that work and job can be fun too, and proves his words by his actions. Superstore made it’s debut in November 2015 and has successfully delivered 5 seasons so far, with the 6th season in line that is currently being aired. The makers, however, made it clear before the release of season 6 that it will serve as a closure to the storyline and will be the final season. ‘Superstore’ began airing its Season 6 episodes from October 2020 and have so far dropped 5 episodes, with the 6th one scheduled to go on air on 21 January 2021.

The previous episode of Superstore dealt with the social issues of white privilege and racism, and like usual times, it deals with it carefully and with delicacy. Dina handles Gernett the responsibility of conducting an employee meeting and help them list out the racist aspects of the store. Gernett has been working in the store for quite a long time and has never witnessed any policy that acted as a revolutionary change. Dina still pushes him into making him believe that racial justice has taken place under her position. Gernett feels that if a person does something in his power, it doesn’t mean that he has put an end to racism. Racism doesn’t vanish with a minute act. The episode serves as a great way to be a narrative of this sensitive issue, with all the conversations and segments between the employees.

Amy and Jonah

Starring America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Sakura, and Mark McKinney in lead roles, the season’s sixth episode will go on air on 21 January 2021 on NBC and witness the return of Glenn from Quarantine.
