HBO Network has confirmed Euphoria season 2, and this is the appropriate time for us fans to break out the glittery eyeshadows and the fan art of Zendaya’s character. This news comes just after the mind-blowing win of Zendaya at the 72nd Annual Emmys.
The actress, who is 24 years in age, snagged the trophy for being Lead Actress in a Drama Series to enact the character, Rue Bennet. Rue is a teenager who is highly addicted. HBO has disclosed that all the pieces of the show are now falling into appropriate places, and Euphoria season 2 is not far from us.
Euphoria season 2 updates!
Well, as you guys might already know, the filming on Euphoria season 2 shut down back in March because there was a widespread of the fatal Corona Virus. Later, a pandemic caused by the reason, as mentioned above, stopped the whole industry of entertainment, and thus, water spilled over the plans of production.
The crew had a schedule to provide us with the second season after a year of the buzzy finale we received in August of 2019. Nevertheless, things are coming back to the track, and we can be hopeful.
Euphoria season 2 can release sometime in 2021 or 2022, along with a Euphoria Special COVID episode!
HBO says they might drop Euphoria season 2 this year, that is, 2020. This piece of exciting news is a bit hard to believe because the filming has been exceedingly delayed; I mean, it has not even started yet. It looks kind of tough, but if HBO says it, then that is that.
After the Emmy awards, it was revealed by president Casey Bloys that there are possibilities for the Euphoria season, two production crew, to start rolling the cameras again in early 2021. This official word means that we might get a release date for the second installment of Euphoria in the latter half of 2021 or maybe even 2022.

All this while, Bloys also has revealed about a Euphoria special COVID episode. This content is supposed to give all our thirsty fans something new to rely upon until the gap between the first and the second seasons of Euphoria is filled.
Zendaya has hinted about this Euphoria bridge episode earlier too!
The first hint about this special episode was dropped by the lead Euphoria actress, Zendaya when she happened to be in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Zendaya disclosed that she does not know how to explain all of it, but there might be an episode that they can do with a limited amount of people and in a safe environment. Zendaya also said that the cast and crew miss Euphoria as much as the fans do.
