Konosuba is also known as God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World, is a comedy anime series that is based on a Japanese light novel series which is written by Natsume Akatsuki. It is a trendy light novel that got first made into a manga and then anime series. It currently has 2 seasons, each of which has been received greatly by the fans and the critics. The fans of this series got the second season of the show in 2017 and afterward got a movie, which was a pretty good thing. But then there wasn’t any news on when fans of this beloved series will be getting a third season of the show. There hasn’t been any news on the third season of the show, and many are wondering whether they will be getting another season or not.
As of writing this, the show has been renewed for a third season, nor has it been canceled by the studio. The fans’ hopes are still high, and they will most likely get this season sooner or later, mainly because of the popularity of the series, which spawned two anime seasons and a full-length animated movie on one of the main characters. The series might be in development, and it might be taking a long time because of the current pandemic that is going around the world. If the situation gets better, fans of the series will most likely get the third season at the beginning of 2021. This isn’t an official statement and shouldn’t be taken as an official statement.
For those who don’t know, Konosuba follows the story of Kazuma Satō, who is a shut-in NEET that gets killed in an accident. After his death, he meets a goddess named Aqua that gives him the option of reincarnating him in a parallel world filled with MMORPG elements. In this world, he can go on any adventure ad well as fight powerful monsters. The goddess grants him the wish of blessings him with superpowered items or ability which Kazuma can use in this new world. Instead of those things, he selects Aqua as his partner because of her provocation. She then goes to the town of Axel, where he finds out that her partner isn’t helpful or useful at all.
As for the cast, in season three, most of the original voice actors will be returning, which are Jun Fukushima as Kazuma Sato is a 17-year-old who is obsessed with the game. His heart was broken by his childhood friend in middle school. Sora Amamiya as Aqua, who is the goddess of water that sends humans to the RPG world up, but she was dragged by Kazuma after she insulted him by mocking his death. Takahashi as Megumin who is a 13-year-old girl that is part of the Crimson Demons race, which are modified humans that possess crimson eyes, powerful magic affinity. Ai Kayano as Darkness, who is an 18-year-old crusader that possesses powerful offense as well as a defense but doesn’t have the accuracy to deliver her attacks.
