Sidharth Shukla was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, but his family comes from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh which is also his hometown. He attended St. Xavier’s High School in Fort Mumbai. After graduating from High School, he went to major in Interior designing from the Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design. Shukla is a Hindu Brahmin by religion. Shukla was really into fitness, and during his free time, when he was not busy winning over hearts with his smile on the Tv, he usually hit the gym for a workout. Other than that, he also enjoyed travelling to various places in his free time.
He first won over our hearts with his role in the Indian TV series called Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, which aired on Sony TV. In this show, he portrayed the main lead Shubh Ranawat who was a family man. After the show ended in 2009, Siddharth went on to star in many more TV serials such as Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi, Love U Zindagi and Balika Vadhu. Even though he was popular before, he earned major fame after his role in the Colours Tv series Balika Vadhu. This role earned him many awards and nominations.
