Dan Brown’s Lost Symbol will be available for streaming on 16th September 2021 on the American OTT platform Peacock. The first episode is titled “As Above, So Below” which comes out on 16th September. The next episode, which is the 2nd one, is called “The Araf” and will be available on 23rd September 2021.

The mystery adventure drama stars Ashley Zukerman as the main character Robert Langdon. The Australian American actor’s other known works include The Code, Manhattan, and A Teacher. The series also features Valorie Curry as Katherine Solomon. You might know her for her brief appearance as Charlotte in The Twilight Saga.

In June 2019, it was announced that the project would be turned into a television series titled Langdon. Co-creators, showrunners, and executive producers are Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie, and the series will be a prequel to the film series. Ron Howard, Dan Brown, Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo, Samie Falvey, and Anna Culp will also contribute as executive producers.

Imagine Television, CBS Studios, and Universal Television Studios have partnered to produce the series for NBC. The series was picked up by Peacock in March 2021. In a trailer released on May 17, 2021, Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol was revealed as the new title of the series. Aside from serving as executive producer on the series, Dan Trachtenberg will direct the first episode.

Langdon will be sent on a scavenger hunt when his mentor, Peter Solomon, is kidnapped during the series. There are a few hints in the trailer for the series for plot points from Solomon’s Hand, Solomon’s sister Katherine and the presence of Solomon’s severed hand within the Rotunda at the Capitol. The trailer also featured is a close-up of the heavily inked body of the novel’s main antagonist, who is obsessed with changing his body in a way that is spiritual in nature.
