Konami is busy with the most anticipated update of the PES 2020 mobile, which will offer the game’s new upcoming season. It will also have a more sharp and responsive mobile football gameplay based on the console experience. The game is set to release late October, which will carry some of the progression of PES 2020 to the new game. Konami has listed what things will be carried over to the game. First is the myClub Coins, and GP from PES 2020 will carry over to PES 2021. The Base Team that players have set will be available in PES 2021 when they first log in after updating their game. But there will be some changes to the names, strips, and emblems of certain teams. If the Base Team that the player has set isn’t available in PES 2021, they will have to choose a new team.
Teams that will be chosen will be limited to those available in PES 2021 but the first-time login in the game. Players will be able to change their Base Team and team name anytime by clicking on Extras, then User Information, then User Profile and selecting Base Team and Team Name. Now let’s talk about the carryover players when the new update goes live. All Base Players, as well as Featured Players that are owned by the players in PES 2020, will be converted to Carryover Players. Furthermore, players who have acquired these during the update to PES 2020 will remain as Carryover Players. But the skills, tactics, position, and appearance of the Players will be different, which has been identical to that of their Base Player counterparts.
Upon releasing Carryover Players, players will earn more GP than other players that have comparable Overall Ratings. These Carryover Players will have a condition rating of “C,” but live updates won’t impact it. Some of these players can’t be used in online events, and they might lower bonuses than other players in certain online events. They have also mentioned and talked about how other player types will be handled during the update. The base Player will also be available in PES 2021 at launch, and their player data will be updated and will automatically be converted into a Carryover Player when the update is live. If the base player isn’t available at launch, it’ll be exchanged for a random base player of the same rarity as well as a registered position. The player receives through this mechanic will be limited to only those featured in PES 2021 upon its launch.
The featured player obtained by the users in PES 2020 will be included in the upcoming update. Their attributes, skills, position, tactics, and appearance will be changed as well. Featured players obtained by the user will be exchanged for a random base player of the same rarity. These are some of the many changes that will be coming to the game after that update.
