Padukone started the festival as its jury member. By the end of it, she’ll be remembered as a fashion icon too. She was the first Indian to appear at the Cannes 2022. However, she is no first-timer when it comes to Cannes Film Festival appearances. And as always, she is one of the high-profile Indians on the Cannes 2022 red carpet.
Her first appearance Deepika made at the Cannes 2022 was in a Louis Vuitton Fall Collection sleeveless dress. She coupled it up with a knee-high boot. But it was on Day 3 that she brought her A-game on board. This time again, a Louis Vuitton red gown. The outfit had minimal make-up and a diamond necklace. Red on red might seem to be a gamble for many. But for her? Not in a million miles.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya is seemingly on a hiatus from films. Nevertheless, her fashion sense stays the same. Besides, this was her 20th appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Without her, a list of Indians at the Cannes 2022 red carpet would be incomplete. Notably, she was the first Indian actor to serve as a jury member. Her first appearance at Cannes came in 2002.

Aditi Rao Hydari

Pooja Hegde
