Gujrat Titans are the IPL 2022 champions. They beat the Rajasthan Royals in the final on home turf. There were more than one lakh fans were present at the match. 

The Motera Stadium was the venue for the final. Furthermore, it is the home ground for GT. Notably, it was their first match in the arena.

Titans became the IPL 2022 champions in their first season in IPL. But, RR was their able opponent for the title. However, GT was in complete control. They dominated RR for the entire match. This display landed them their first trophy ever.

Notably, there was a closing ceremony before the match. It was a star-studded affair. It set the stage for the grand finale. Here we bring you the main aspects of the game.

MI released Hardik Pandya in the mega auction. The player was also out of the Indian team. However, GT picked him up. They also made him the captain of their team. And it turned out to be a good move.

Pandya seemed like the best version of himself. He finished as the highest run-scorer for his team. Furthermore, he was the best bowler for the Titans on the final day. It was a captain’s display from start to end of the IPL. 

The Indian fans will hope that his form continues. Besides, Pandya will have a point to prove on his international return. 

RR can look forward to the next IPL!

The RR team deservingly made it to the final. Their cricket was on a high level.

RR’s Jos Buttler won the orange cap. They also had the best bowler in the tournament in Chahal. It speaks volumes about their team display on the pitch. However, they failed to perform in the final. Their key players did not settle in on Sunday night.
