He was last seen in Season 2 when Midas flooded the entire map of Fortnite because of his Device experiment that backfired. But now he returns to cause more destruction to the world of Fortnite, Midas is at The Agency again with an Undead Army at his back to help him to achieve his goals. Players that will be killed during this event in Solos, Duos, or Squads can return to battle as one of Midas’ Shadow Henchmen which will be their chance of getting a Nitemare Royale alongside other Shadows by taking down the living by using abilities that aren’t of this world.

There are also going to be new Halloween-themed items which include Witches Broom which will grant players the ability to travel around the map, the Fiend Hunter Crossbow, and the iconic Pumpkin Rocket Launcher. There are also going to be new consumable items like Candy Corn and Jelly Beans, that will add health or shield upon eating them but it might give you some new powers. One of the biggest surprises in the game is the removal of the Charge Shotgun, that has been vaulted from the game for the future. This update also brings a lot of bug fixes to the game which is Honey Hitters Pickaxe disabled, Cozy Chomps, and Ravage Outfits appearing as Ramirez. TWIP! Legacy not being awarded, Inventory shuffling after respawning in Team Rumble and Doctor Doom’s Mystical Bomb have been temporarily disabled in the competitive playlists.

As for the creative mode, players that don’t have matchmaking permissions can’t access the Team Size setting. There was a bug that was Sky color does not change when adjusting light color setting and Fog, as well as lighting settings, have been changed in Creative. But there are many more things coming which according to leaks suggest that Ghost Rider and Ant-Man might be making their way into Fortnite soon. There are also going to be three new emotes which was leaked by Twitter user HYPEX. All of this points out towards that more Marvel characters will be coming to the game and one of the leaked emotes showed a Doctor turning into a creature which could be hinting towards Hank which is a Marvel comics character but we have to wait can see if it becomes reality.
