Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the most anticipated games of this year and it has gotten the attention of many players around the world because of its setting and the beautiful world. Ubisoft is planning to support the game after its release which means there are going to be a lot of post-launch DLC. Some of these things will be free but some will be included in a $40 season pass. This season pass will have two expansions that are said to be very big and a Beowulf themed special quest. For those who don’t know Beowulf is a hero from the old times and players will be playing this story to uncover the “monstrous truth” behind the character. It sounds very compelling and this quest will be available at the release of the game for those that own a season pass.

But for those that won’t have the season pass, Ubisoft hasn’t clarified when this quest will be available to those players. Let’s talk about the DLC now whose names have been revealed by Ubisoft which are as follows Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris. Down below are the details of both of these DLCs.
• DLC 1: Wrath of the Druids
This will be the first expansion that will be releasing in Spring 2021. Players will be taken to Ireland where they will be uncovering the mysteries of an ancient and mysterious druidic cult, players will be tracking and discovering their members. In this adventure, players will be fighting through haunted forests and beautiful landscapes while at the same will gaining influence among the Kings of Gaelic.
• DLC 2: The Siege of Paris
As for the second expansion, it will be releasing in the Summer of 2021. In this, players will get to take part in the historical Viking battle which will have many key historical figures present in the event. The player will have to infiltrate the fortified city of Paris and the River Seine under a siege. They will also have to uncover enemy secrets as well as form alliances to ensure their clan’s future and safety.
Now let’s talk about the seasonal content like previously stated that there is going to be a paid content but there is going to be free seasonal DLC that will have new narrative content” and in-game events. Each season will be lasting three months and each of these seasons will have a lot of content coming with them. For example, Season One will have a new settlement area, the Yule festival event, new skills, abilities, and a new River Raids mode. For the second season, there will be new game modes whose names will be revealed later. There will be a new Jomsviking refresh, more festivals, and additional gear and cosmetic items to collect. Furthermore, Ubisoft revealed in a press release that there is going to be more content even after this which means fans will have a lot of things to look forward to. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be releasing on 10 November for Xbox Series X/Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC through the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft’s PC store.
