The 2022 IIFA awards was recently held in Abu Dhabi.

However, the stars came in numbers for the megaevent. This award is considered one of the highest honors in the Hindi film industry. 

The clips from the event are going viral online. The fans went into a frenzy at the sight of film stars. Besides, 2022 marks the first show in 2 years since COVID-19. The biggest star of the night was Salman Khan. Moreover, he also served as the host of the ceremony. IIFA 2022 Winners List In Full!

Shershaah was the film with the most number of awards on the night. The film won five trophies on the night. Notably, it saw an online release in the year 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. Upon its release, it became the Indian film with the most views on the platform.

This film bagged the Best film award at IIFA 2022. Moreover, its director Vishnuvaradhan got the Best Director trophy. Besides, the film won three words in the various music categories. Kriti Sanon was voted the Best Actress for her role in Mimi. It is her first award as the best actress. She posted a photo on Instagram sharing her joy. Besides, she captioned the post by saying that dreams do come true. 

Furthermore, the Best Actor went to Vicky Kaushal. His performance in the Shoojit Sircar film Sardar Udham landed him the award. Moreover, he also posted his reaction on his Instagram.

One other film that bagged a couple of awards in IIFA 2022 is the 2021 movie 83. It won the Best Adapted story on screen. Furthermore, the film got the first prize for Best lyrics for the song Lehra Do. Also, Anurag Basu’s Ludo won the Best Original Story award at the show. 

Notably, almost all the IIFA 2022 winners were present on the green carpet. It was a starry affair for two nights in Abu Dhabi.
