Only a couple of days have passed since the newest update of Apex Legends that brought us a new map and a new Legend, which is a breath of fresh air. Along with that update, there were some changes done to some of the characters in the game as well as weapons which needed some changes according to the developers. Here is everything that has been changed in that section of the game. First off is Bangalore, whose Rolling Thunder ability’s time has been reduced from 8 seconds to 6 seconds, and Caustic’s Nox Gas Trap won’t blur the vision of the opponents while in the gas, but the damage is buffed from 4-10 ticks of damage to 6-12 ticks of damage. This has been done by the developers because he is very frustrating sometimes.

Next up is Mirage, whose Psyche Out ability has 45 health now, which will make it more reliable, but these clones can’t be used as shields as bullet also passes through them and hits whatever’s behind them. Octane’s Swift Mend healing rate has been increased from 0.5 hp/s to 1.0 hp/s. The developers say that Octave is a character for those that like to dive into action, and because of that, they get knocked a lot, and the developers think it is fair that he gets this buff, which will help in combat. Wattson’s Perimeter Security’s damage has been increased from 10 to 15. Wattson is at a shallow place when it comes to picking up, which is even below Plat. Lina’s Black Market no longer counts as Black Market’s maximum, which means players can now scoop up all the ammo in range. This is a change that is done to this Legend because of the community feedback that wanted to make her even stronger.

Rampart is the next Legend that has gone through some changes. Her ability Sheila now takes up 1.25 seconds to fully spin up, which is lowered from 2 seconds, and her Amped Wall now takes up 3 seconds to fully build instead of 4 seconds. Pathfinder’s ability, as well as his hitbox, are getting some changes. His hitbox is extremely skinny, and particularly his arms and legs do not represent many shootable areas. The developers are hoping to accomplish make it a little easier to hit Pathfinder, but they aren’t yet removing Low Profile from Pathfinder. This will make him still harder to hit than most of the characters in the game. And if it doesn’t make any difference to his win rate, the developers will drop Low Profile. But his changes don’t end there as his Grappling Hook getting some tweaks. First is that he won’t need to be on the ground for Grappling Hook to be considered finished.

Now let’s talk about the weapon changes, the supply drop. R99 is one out of the Supply Drop and now has a damage of 12 -> 11. As for the ammo, it will have 20/22/24/27. Now instead of R99, The prowler has been added to the supply drop, and players will still be able to change between 5 round bursts and full-auto. Its magazine size is 35 and will have 175 reserve ammo. The fully kitted weapons that have been removed this season are Devotion, Mastiff, Triple Take, Flatline, Volt, and the newly added ones are Wingman, Sentinel, Havoc, G7, Alternator.
