Melania Trump Sought to Embarrass Her Husband After Stormy Daniels Hush Money Deal Was Revealed

Melania Trump Wanted to “Humiliate” Her Husband After the Stormy Daniels Hush Money Deal Came to Light: Report

In March of last year, just before Donald Trump faced criminal charges for his involvement in a hush-money agreement with Stormy Daniels, reports surfaced revealing Melania Trump’s ongoing resentment toward her husband over the alleged affair.

Melania’s apparent indifference to the potential consequences, even if they led to Trump’s imprisonment, wasn’t surprising given her earlier reactions to the scandal.

When news broke in 2018 that Trump had paid a substantial sum to a porn star to conceal infidelity, Melania was notably angered and showed little sympathy toward the then-president.

In her book “American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, From Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden,” New York Times reporter Katie Rogers sheds light on Melania’s response to the allegations.

According to Rogers, Melania opted out of accompanying Trump on a trip abroad and instead headed to Mar-a-Lago alone.

Stephanie Grisham, the press secretary for the First Lady at the time, revealed that Melania wanted to express her displeasure directly to the president. Grisham recounted Melania’s feelings, noting that she was upset with Trump and intended for him to feel a degree of humiliation by her departure.

Fast forward four years, Melania seemingly reiterated her sentiments by skipping Trump’s speech at Mar-a-Lago, their shared residence, following his arraignment by the Manhattan district attorney on 34 felony charges related to the hush money deal.

Despite Trump pleading not guilty and denying the affair, reporter Linda Marx disclosed that Melania did not sympathize with his predicament. According to a source familiar with the situation, Melania appeared unfazed by the outcome for Donald, expressing confidence in her own resilience regardless of his fate.

As Trump’s hush money trial, his first but likely not his last criminal trial, approaches its commencement on March 25, prosecutors have already taken precautions. They’ve requested a gag order to prevent Trump from potentially influencing witnesses, court personnel, district attorney staff, their families, or potential jurors through public statements or attacks.
