He said that “Now that we have managed to get back on our feet with development, we have decided to focus on prioritizing quality and to therefore push back the final release date. Very sorry once again. We hope that everyone who has been waiting patiently for No More Heroes 3 can understand and accept this decision, and we will continue to put every effort into the title’s development as we shoot for a 2021 release date.” For those who don’t No More Heroes, 3 is set eight years before the original game. It follows the story of a boy named Damon discovers an alien named FU, and those two develop a very close bond. Damon was able to gain power from his alien powers through the wreckage of FU’s ship.
The government is always on their tails in order to capture the alien but they are able to find a way to send FU back his home planet. Fu promises that he will be returning after 20 years and Fu does return but isn’t the same. He is now the CEO of a powerful company, he has now become a galactic criminal who is hellbent on destroying the Earth with the help of eight other lifeforms. Travis is at the time enjoying his retirement but is now doing his job again which is to stop this invasion. The antagonist of this game is said to be a “Thanos level” villain. This is a pretty good story and it will be interesting to see it will unfold. The gameplay of No More Heroes will be somewhat similar to the previous games but the exact details are still unknown but in the future, we might be getting more info.
