Court records unsealed on Monday revealed that Isabella Maria DeLuca, a conservative social media influencer with over 333,000 followers, has been charged in connection with the storming of the U.S. Capitol.

According to the records, DeLuca allegedly participated in the riot by passing a stolen table out of a broken window, which was subsequently used as a weapon against law enforcement officers.

The arrest of DeLuca took place last Friday in Irvine, California, where she faces misdemeanor charges, including theft of government property, disorderly conduct, and entering a restricted area.

DeLuca’s background includes previous work as a congressional intern and a current role as a media associate for The Gold Institute for International Strategy. She is noted to have served as an ambassador for the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA.

During her career, DeLuca interned for former U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York and Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona, both known Republicans who have expressed support for former President Donald Trump.

Despite the charges against her, DeLuca, 24, of Setauket, New York, has not yet responded to requests for comment, and online court records do not indicate that she has legal representation.

In response to the situation, a spokesperson for The Gold Institute for International Strategy announced that they were made aware of DeLuca’s criminal charges on Monday.

Following an internal investigation, the organization decided to sever ties with DeLuca, who was employed in an unpaid position to manage their social media presence.
