Amnesia is a game franchise that is hailed to be the scariest game of all time. When Frictional Games released there Amnesia: The Dark Descent, everyone was playing and praising the game for its creepy environment, storytelling, and game mechanics. The groundbreaking horror game developers are back with the latest installment to the franchise, which is Amnesia: Rebirth, which was teased a couple of months ago by the developers. They showed the fans a trailer, which gave us a look at the game and some details on the story. Recently, another trailer was unveiled by them, which showed us the release date for the game.
As for the story, players will be taking control of Tasi Trianon, who wakes up in the desert of Algeria. Many days have passed, and there was isn’t any sing of the people that were with you. You will be going on a journey to remember what happened to you and survive the horror that lurks in the shadows. The players will have to, as the description says, struggle with hopes, fears, and bitter regrets. This game, like the previous installment, will be in the first person in which players will have to explore environments and uncover their histories. There will puzzles in the game and resources management that are for both physical and mental. The enemies in the game will be horrific as usual, and the player will have to use their wits to escape.

In the trailer, we can see a temple which has writing all over it and some machine which is generating electricity. Taai will have a lantern, but in the most recent trailer, we can see that she is holding a matchstick, which provides only a few seconds of light. There is a bus, plane, and what’s look like an alien ship of the sort which is in the desert in Algeria. The developers showed us what the enemies would look like in the game, which is tall that has glowing eyes. There is also a campus which will most likely guide players to the objectives.
Frictional Games creative director Thomas Grip says Amnesia: Rebirth will not be a haunted house that is full of frights and weird visions, however. They are aiming to go beyond simple jump-scares and also to affect the players on a deeper level. The game will contain many terrifying encounters and things players would expect from an Amnesia game. It even has a lot of focus in terms of narrative than previous entries in the series. It is an exhilarating moment for the fans of the series as they will be getting a great horror game very soon. The game will be releasing on PC and PS4 on 20 October 2020.
