Hayley Nichole Williams is a famous American singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. She is the main vocalist and musician of the band Paramore. The rock band Paramore initially had brothers Josh and Zac Farro, Jeremy Davis, and Hayley Williams in the year 2004. The current members of the band are Zac Farro, Taylor York, and Hayley Williams.
The band has released five studio albums to date; All We Know Is Falling in 2005, Riot! in 2007, Brand New Eyes in 2009, Paramore in 2013, and After Laughter in 2017. The band is set to release its 6th studio album next year titled This Is Why whose title track was released on September 28.
Hayley released her solo album Petals for Armor on May 8, 2020, with its single ‘Simmer’ released on January 2020. She released her second studio album, Flowers for Vases, after a year on February 5, 2021. Besides group and solo activities, Hayley also worked on soundtracks and collaborated with various artists. She was also nominated for Grammys in the category Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for the song Airplanes, Part II featuring verses from B.o.B and Eminem.
Who Is Hayley Williams Dating?
Williams and Paramore’s lead guitarist Taylor were rumored to be in a relationship for two years, but they didn’t confirm it until their title track release. During an interview, they admitted to being in a relationship and didn’t share much further.
They didn’t disclose for how long they have been dating each other, but fans speculate that it all started in 2018, with Instagram stories as evidence. Williams even had a song which was about her relationship with York in her album Petals for Armor with the title ‘Crystal Clear.
‘While many of the Paramore fans rejoiced after hearing about Taylor and Hayley, few of them were concerned that if their relationship didn’t last, they could disband.
Hayley Williams’s Past Relationships
● Chad Gilbert – Hayley met the musician Chad Gilbert in 2008. They dated for six years and got engaged on Christmas 2014, and got married in 2016. After only 16 months of their marriage, they called it quits in 2017. Williams referring to her marriage with Chad, said that marriage was not for them, but they will continue to remain as friends.
In a joint statement, they announced their split on June 30, 2017. Chad later dated Lisa Cimorelli of the indie band Cimorelli, a band made up of five sisters. They revealed their engagement in 2019 and got married in 2020.
● Josh Farro – The former Paramore lead guitarist and backing vocalist Josh Farro dated Hayley for three years, from 2004 to 2007. They never disclosed their relationship until two years after their break up. They kept their romance a secret till then. They told the press that they didn’t want the band to be just about them.
It was rumored that Hayley and Josh split up because Hayley was cheating on him with Chad Gilbert. He left the band in 2010. Josh later dated Jenna Rice, with whom he got married in 2010. He is now living happily with his wife and children, Basil and Leon.
Hayley dated mainly his bandmates and fellow musicians and therefore wasn’t involved in controversies. She has always been secretive about her personal life, because of which we don’t know much about her dating history. It is also said that Hayley left the band in 2016 secretly, but Taylor managed to bring her back.
The band also shared the reason for their hiatus in the interview. They said that after the release of After Laughter in 2017, one of Taylor’s family friends died while the band was in the shoot of a music video. The news left Taylor devastated, and they decided to focus on themselves as an individual than as a band.
Other than her band and solo activities, she had endorsed brands too. She partnered with MAC Cosmetics for the launch of the new collection. She was also featured on Nylon magazine’s cover for the promotion of Paramore’s album. Hayley also collaborated with Hard Rock cafe’s PINKTOBER charity campaign to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. She launched her own beauty and music TV series Kiss-Off on Popular TV in 2015.
In 2016, after four years of planning, she launched her own dye company Good Dye Young with her hair and makeup artist Brian O’ Conner. In 2021, she partnered with a Nashville tea manufacturer ‘Tea Huntress. A portion of the revenue generated from the two new blends introduced after her collaboration is donated to Thistle Farms, an organization that helps women survivors of abuse and trafficking.
