The role of Archie Beckles in the CBBC drama series Rocket’s Island, which was created by Lime Pictures and All3Media, made Kit Sebastian Connor a household name in the United Kingdom. Depending on the context, Kit Conner may be well known for his roles in the 2019 musical drama film Rocketman and the 2019 drama picture Little Joe, which was co-produced globally.

Since making his acting debut in the comedy movie Get Santa in 2014, where he played the role of Tom Anderson, Connor has been able to grow as an actor every day. He now has more than 15 acting credits. While talking about his net worth, about which not much is known as of now, the actor already has a lot of on-screen credits under his belt, which undoubtedly helped increase his overall net worth.

His specific hourly rate for Heartstopper is also unknown, although according to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix often pays young performers on new TV shows between $20,000 and $30,000 per episode for the first season of a series. Over time, Kit’s wealth is predicted to increase. Due to the popularity of the series that already dominates Netflix choices these days, Kit Connor has had to deal with instant celebrity, and that has been leading up to various questions about his personal life.

Preserving Kit Conner’s Sexuality From The World

In May of the year 2022, Connor—who plays the bisexual named Nick in the movie ‘Heartstopper’ has replied to rumors which were received from fans from various parts of the world. He shared in the post that “Twitter is so funny, man!  Evidently, some users on here are more familiar with my sexuality than I am”.

In a May 2022 interview with Attitude, Joe Locke, who plays Nick’s lover Charlie, supported Connor’s right to keep his sexuality a secret as well. “I think people ask questions, but it doesn’t give them a right to know everything about that person’s private life. “Regarding Nick, the character he plays in the Netflix series, the actor has been fairly outspoken.

Connor acknowledges the value of Nick’s experience, as he previously mentioned, especially in light of how little attention bisexuals have received in television shows, movies, and other forms of storytelling. Not to mention, Kit praised Heartstopper for its innovative premise and how well it captured the growth and challenges faced by a bisexual character.

Connor also discussed his decision to keep his sexuality a secret. In an interview related to the same, he shared, “I have no duty to communicate about my sexuality to the public. I feel very passionately, competent, and at ease, although it is a very private subject.” Connor said that he keeps his sexuality to himself but praised Heartstopper for including a bisexual man in Nick’s plot.

Connor stated that his “main motive” for acting in Heartstopper was to increase the depiction of bisexual characters in media in an interview with NME. The dearth of bisexual characters, particularly male bisexual characters, is one of the main driving forces. “Although I am aware that show Sex Education features a prominent male bisexual character, there truly aren’t that many [on film],” he stated.

Nick’s exploration of his sexuality, for instance, is one of the major plotlines which was depicted in his show. Kit from Heartstopper told Metro that because the role of Nick is so underrepresented, it was incredibly wonderful to play it, and due to having a clicking kind of relation with Joe on screen, he was able to express the role in a more real way.

The British actor has kept his relationship affairs away from the limelight and his fans. As a result, not much about his dating history is available worldwide. He has also kept his sexual orientation secret.

Conclusion

Kit Connor doesn’t prefer to discuss his romantic relationships in interviews or on social media since there have been way many speculations in the minds of the audience. Although, many production firms are becoming more open to using LGBT performers in queer roles with the awareness and strong foot being kept by the actors to depict the role in the most honest form.

This pattern leads us to believe that Connor is a part of the LGBTQ+ group. But until Kit comes out, drawing any conclusions would not justify and thus would not lead to any healthy conclusion.
