Title clinched! Man City are Premier League champions, Liverpool finish a point behind

Man City are the 2021/22 Premier League champions. Their crowning moment came at the Ethiad stadium. Notably, this is their fourth title in the last five years. Man City had just been crowned the Premier League champions.

At the same time, Liverpool was playing the Wolves. The equation meant that if City lost or drew,  a Liverpool win would make them champions. However, Liverpool had a torrid start to their game as well. They went a goal down inside three minutes. They eventually recovered and won the game 3-1. But City winning their match meant Liverpool finished behind them in the league.
