Rafael Nadal Beat Djokovic, And All The French Open 2022 Latest

Rafael Nadal beat Novak Djokovic in the quarter-final of the French Open 2022. The match on a court of clay was on Tuesday. It went on for over four hours in total. However, Nadal came out as the winner in this match. It is called an epic match between the two.

Notably, Djokovic is the current world number one. Besides, he was also the winner of the French Open in 2021. 

Moreover, Nadal is known as the king of clay. So, when Nadal beat Djokovic, it made the headlines. Furthermore, Nadal is the record winner of the competition. He has a total of 13 French Open titles. With the win last night, he will look to make it 14 this year.

Zverev will be Nadal’s opponent in the semis. He beat Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-final match. 

The 25-year-old has never won a Grand Slam title. He will look to keep his hopes alive against Nadal.

Elsewhere, Leylah Fernandez was on the receiving end of a loss by Martina Trevisan. She makes it to her first Grand Slam semi-final with this win. 

She will meet Coco Gauff in the semis. Gauff beat fellow American Stephens in the quarters of the French Open. It promises to be a good match between the two.

Nadal beats Djokovic in the French Open semis!

Rafael Nadal and Djokovic displayed a battle last night. Their semi-final match lasted for four hours and twelve minutes. Eventually, Nadal beat Djokovic with a score of 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(4). Notably, the match that started on Tuesday ended on Wednesday at 1 am. However, the game was a treat, even if it went late into the night. Notably, the duo has played some memorable matches in the past. However, Nadal came on top this time. He will now play for his 14th French Open title. Moreover, it’ll mark his 22nd Grand Slam trophy.

Nadal will face Alexander Zverev in his next match in the French Open. Both men will have personal targets to achieve. However, the pair promises a good match-up ahead.

Also, there is one more semi-final that we can look forward to. It will see Trevisan take on Gauff for a place in the final. It will be the first Grand Slam semis for both the ladies.
