Molly Bloom Talked About Infertility Journey
The Molly’s Game author, 44, gave birth to her first child, daughter Fiona,
on February 8. SHE opening up to PEOPLE about her
arduous
journey to motherhood, recounting her
Struggle with infertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF) and offering advice to other women experiencing similar issues.
She soon discovered CCRM Fertility, where she could conceive succ
essfully at the age of 43.
“I went through nine rounds of IVF,” she explains. ”
“This process reduced me to my knees,” Bloom admits about her infe
rtility struggles.
When asked what advice she would give to other women
going through the same ordeal,
Bloom thinks a mindful meditation practice and
“understanding the ins and outs of fertility” are essential.
As a mother to 3-month-old Fiona, the form
er athlete says she is “constantly in awe” of motherhood.
