Lorraine was learning to ride a horse in 2012 when a jump failed horribly, and she fell off.
She had to go through intense surgeries to recover. “I would have died,” Lorraine said.
She visited the home of 14-time Paralympic Gold medalist Sir Lee Pearson,,,
where she managed to get back on a horse in April 2022, ten years after
the fall.
Lorraine told ITV viewers after getting back on the horse:
“I have to say, that
was much more
emotional than
I thought it would be.
I couldn’t have done it with anybody else,
apart from Sir Lee.
Holding back more tears, Lorraine added: “I’m not going to feel frightened anymore.
