Eric Clapton Is
COVID Positive
After repeatedly criticising vaccine protocols,
Eric Clapton tested positive for COVID-19.
Clapton, 77, revealed he had tested positive for COVID-19
in a Facebook post on Monday.
As a result, his upcoming tour dates in
Zurich and Milan have been postponed.
Clapton and his crew are hopeful that alternate
dates will be available within the next six months.
In the past, the British singer and guitarist has
voiced doubts about the COVID-19 vaccine.
He claimed the
vaccine caused severe nerve damage to his fingers
, preventing him from playing his guitar for months.
Clapton had
previously
expressed his
disapproval of
lockdowns, travel
restrictions
, and
other public
health measures.
He made an appearance in Van Morrison's song "Stand and Deliver" in December 2020,
which included lyrics critical of the lockdown.
