Mark Ruffalo Celebrates 10 Years Since First Avengers Movie

Mark Ruffalo is celebrating The Avengers' tenth anniversary.

Ruffalo played Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, with Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr.,

Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner in the 2012 picture that launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Can you believe it's been ten years since it first aired?"

It has been a tremendous privilege to be a member of the MCU."

Not including the multiple spin-offs, prequels, and standalone superhero movies in the franchise,

the second Avengers film, Age of Ultron, was released in 2015, followed by Infinity War in 2018 and Endgame in 2019.

Throughout the film series, the Avengers have lost and gained new members.

Ruffalo told in October 2020 that he considers himself fortunate to play the Hulk in MCU films.

Except for Mark Ruffalo, the Avengers ensemble got identical tattoos of the franchise's iconic symbol in 2018.
