Michael Gunner is not the northern territory
Chief Minister anymore
is a politician from Australia who served as the Northern Territory's 11th
He said: his head and heart are no longer in the job.
Gunner said a heart attack in January 2020, combined with the COVID-19 pandemic, had left him exhausted.
The decision was motivated by the birth of his second son, Nash, on April 29.
He said “When I held Nash for the first time, that was it, game over. I knew straight away that I was done.”
Gunner stated that he would continue to serve in parliament as a member of Fannie Bay.
