Viola Davis Thoughts On Cruel Criticism As Michelle Obama

Viola Davis received a lot of criticism of her portrayal of Michelle Obama, 'incredibly hurtful' said Viola

the actress started as former first lady in Showtime's The First Lady, which premiered April 17

the show received not so good critics, where as social media had issue with how she pursed her lips to play Obama

these are some of the comments on the show by the critics 'unnecessary and border-line insulting,' and 'so bad it's baffling'

she admits 'it's hard to 'move on from the hurt, from failure'  and calls this criticism an 'occupational hazard'

viola told the media obama is so well known and beloved, so its "almost impossible" to play her role exactly the same
