All American is an American television series that has been created by April Blair, and it premiered on The CW on 10 October 2018. Upon its release show got a very positive response from the audience and the critics. This show is inspired by the life of a professional football player named Spencer Paysinger. We follow the story of an upcoming high school American football player that hails from South L. A who then gets recruited to play for the Beverly Hills High. There is also a conflict between Crenshaw and Beverly Hills when their two worlds collide with each other’s worlds. The show stands at a 69 score from 13 reviewers on the Metacritic, which is a pretty good rating.

The third season of All American production has been a rocky one because of the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected every single show and movie production. At first, due to the risk of the Covid-19, the production was halted for the third season, but CW was a statement that stated that they are planning on releasing the third season in January 2021. But recently, someone was tested positive for the COVID-19 because the production was stopped, but it hasn’t been revealed the person who tested positive was a cast member or crew member. Furthermore, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the All American team member didn’t show any symptoms of Covid-19.
This is good news for the fans as the show will resume production very soon because this gives them the ability to resume production. The show’s cast will consist of Daniel Ezra as Spencer James, whose character is based on Spencer Paysinger. He is a star at Crenshaw High School that transferred to Beverly Hills High to play American football. But he switches to playing Safety and covers as a kickoff returner and a running back. Bre-Z as Tamia “Coop” Cooper. She is a lesbian of Spencer from Crenshaw High. She tried to warn Shawn about the gang, but she started to take the gang life more seriously when Shawn was killed. His death also triggered the chain of revenge killing between rival gangs.

Greta Onieogou as Layla Keating, who is a student at Beverly High. She is interested in Spencer. Her father is a successful record producer, but her mother was killed in an unfortunate accident. As Olivia Baker, Samantha Logan is Billy’s daughter, who developed an interest in Spencer and later became Asher’s love interest. Michael Evans Behling as Jordan Baker, another one of Billy’s son and is Olivia’s twin brother, and the quarterback for Beverly High. There is many more cast member and above that are mentioned are only a select few. Some new cast members come in the third season, but that hasn’t been revealed yet, and the same can be said for its story. As the release date draws near, we get some more information on what to expect from the third season of All American.
