On the 18th of January, the police were able to find his abandoned car. The next day his children joined the search party to find their father. His phone was last tracked on 15th January, it’s been almost a week and no data is available.
The police assume that he ran out of battery, which is the reason why it is getting harder to track his phone. According to the police report, there was evidence of avalanches. This is making it difficult to resume the search party. The police are still doing their best and doing an air search.
