Working on something we should know about - a record, a show, an exhibition, a closure, a funding row, something going on behind the scenes? Write to editor@theartistree.fm.
If you would rather not be named, say so in your message and we will not publish it.
Corrections
If we have published something inaccurate, tell us at editor@theartistree.fm. We will check it against the source, correct it, and note on the article that it was corrected and when. We do not make changes silently.
For press officers and publicists
Send announcements to editor@theartistree.fm. We cover music, film, art, books, stage and the business around them.
To give a release the best chance of becoming a story, please include:
- a date, and whether it is embargoed;
- a named contact who can actually be reached;
- the underlying detail - figures, dates, venues, credits, funding;
- images you are able to license to us, with a credit line.
We go back to the primary source, so a release that points us at one is far more useful than one that does not. We cannot guarantee coverage and we do not publish releases word for word.
We do not cover general news, politics or world affairs, and we do not run unsourced celebrity rumour - please do not send those.
Review material
We are happy to consider records, proofs, screeners and press tickets. Receiving something does not commit us to covering it or to being kind about it, and anything we were given rather than bought is disclosed in the piece.
