There’s excitement, combat, slaughter, brand new AI, mind-blowing visuals, and a glitch. Except for those who didn’t preorder it, I believe we all have the beta version. Gamers like us, on the other hand, are both pleased and dissatisfied. Wait, what about the newbies? Isn’t it simply that I’m moving too fast? Let me also explain this to you. We’ll explain everything to you in layman’s terms, whether you’re a gaming aficionado or not. Here, we will discuss the upcoming game “BF 2042” or more aptly titled “Battlefield 2042”. Even though there is still time for the game to be released, we were given access to its beta version on October 6. If you are unaware, I will discuss the BF 2042 Beta Release Date and Features in the upcoming sections. Before I go any further, let me give you some background on BF 2042.
Battlefield 2042 is the newest multiplayer first-person shooter in the long-running Battlefield franchise, and it will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PC, and some other platforms. The Open Beta for Battlefield 2042 is already underway, and despite some problems, the AI bots are incredibly realistic. The last one occurred in 2018 when Battlefield V was released. It’s no wonder that folks are eager to get their hands on Battlefield 2042 after three years. Battlefield 2042 may be enjoyed by anyone who has never played a Battlefield game before. This game will have its appearance and feel, with just a few aesthetic and gameplay aspects in common with previous titles. Battlefield 2042 doesn’t even feature a single-player campaign, so there’s no need to be concerned about plot continuity from prior games.
What Is Battlefield 2042 About?
Battlefield 2042 is the 17th installment in the Battlefield franchise, developed by DICE and released by Electronic Arts. The year 2042 is two decades after the events of the 2020 War. In 2040, when a debris storm kills 70% of orbiting satellites and causes “mass catastrophe,” things become even worse. Battlefield 2042 will be set on a planet on the verge of extinction, with a humanitarian crisis caused by a lack of food, energy, and water.
As everyone struggles to find a means to survive in a world at war, the United States and Russia accuse each other of the debris storm as they are suddenly bereft of what little technological luxuries exist. The “Non-Patriated,” a group of warriors, farmers, and engineers who have been left without a home nation, are among those affected. To survive, several Non-Patriated, which each player will play, have joined both sides in the hopes of gaining a ‘place at the board.’
BF 2042 Beta Release Date
Players that pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 have already got early access to the beta starting October 6, 2021. The beta, however, will be publicly available from October 8 to 9th. Battlefield 2042, the controversial Call Of Duty rival from EA and Dice, is returning with a new edition. It will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on November 19. Battlefield is one of the most successful and long-running FPS franchises on the market, alongside Call of Duty. On November 5, Call of Duty will be released first, followed by Battlefield 2042 two weeks later. As both franchises compete for our attention, it’s going to be a fascinating battle.
How To Access BF 2042 Beta?
Battlefield 2042’s Beta is officially here, four months after the game’s announcement. Following an unexpected delay that postponed both the full release and this early playtest, preorders are now available, with public access coming in only 48 hours. Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition ($ 89.99 on PC and $ 99.99 on console) and Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition ($ 109.99 on PC and $ 119.99 on console) are the two editions available to those who pre-ordered it. The open beta does not require PlayStation Plus. However, if you want to play on Xbox, you’ll need a current Xbox Live Gold membership.
To begin with, the BF 2042 Beta only has one map, four specialists, and weaponry. New locations and gameplay, including close-quarters combat, will be available when BF 2042 releases next month. Hourglass, Kaleidoscope, Discarded, Breakaway, Manifest, and Renewal are the other six maps. Additionally, Seasonal releases with loads of material are expected for BF 2042 gamers, like they are for most other games nowadays.
