One Piece fans have been eating well since the mega-popular Anime returned after a short hiatus in April. TOEI animation, the studio that produces Dragon Ball and One Piece, among other anime, confirmed a malware attack last April. One Piece Episode 1016 will be available shortly for the viewers after another reschedule following Japan’s Golden Week. The previous episode put major things in motion, one of them being The Worst Generation’s attack on the remainder of Rocks Pirates. The One Piece Episode 1015 teases the viewers of some serious developments coming our way. Exciting is a word that doesn’t do much justice to what transpired in the previous episode. One Piece Episode 1015 Ace’d it with the animation, and fans lost their minds. The Big Three member deserves all the praise coming their way. It has been a long journey, 22 Years, 6 Months to be precise. We’re part of history here, which means a lot to all the One Piece fans worldwide. Before moving on to One Piece Episode 1016, let’s take a quick recap of the previous episode.
One Piece Episode 1015 Recap
The Episode starts with Yamato’s memory of Ace and their fateful encounter. The Episode once again reminds us of the grand scheme of things where both Roger and Oden predict that solid people will emerge 20 years into the future to bring forth a much-needed change. Yamato observes a parallel between Gol D Roger and Luffy from Ace’s memories and Oden’s journal entries. The animation in the scene is so vivid that it almost feels that we’re experiencing these memories. The episode shows how much Luffy means to both his brothers, Ace and Sabo. We also witness a broken and helpless Yamato unable to do anything to help Ace in his dying moments. Yamato then gives Oden’s journal back to Momonosuke and reminds us again of the strong people from Oden’s journal that will change the world.
Simultaneously Law, Zoro, Killer, and Kidd appear before Kaido and Big Mom to challenge them. As is usually the case with them, none seem much afraid of the Yanko duo. Luffy’s the last to meet the remaining from the Worst Generation. Luffy being himself, makes little of the Titans as he walks past them to see the badly wounded Kin’emon and other Akazaya Nine. Law moves all the Akazaya Nine out of harm’s way as Luffy one-hits Kaido and knocks him down using his new move Gum Gum no Red Roc. The flames shown in Luffy’s recent move are very similar to Ace’s devil fruit. And at the end, Luffy very boldly confirms that he’ll become the next King of Pirates to Kaido and Big Mom. When Will One Piece Episode 1016 be released?
The One Piece Episode 1016 will be released on the 8th of May 2022. The official title of One Piece Episode 1016 is A Special Episode to Admire Zoro-senpai and Sanji-senpai! Barto’s Secret Room 2! Even from the title, we can confirm the episode will be a filler episode which might include a little bit of action toward the end if we’re lucky. But filler or not, we’re still very much excited to see One Piece Episode 1016.

The viewers can officially watch One Piece Episode 1016 on Crunchyroll and Funimation on the 8th of May 2022. Notably, One Piece isn’t officially available to stream in India currently. Viewers can also watch One Piec on Netflix and Hulu in limited regions.
