Aharen san is another great show coming to an end. This spring has been a fresh air of new shows that brought their originality and uniqueness. Aharen-San Wa Hakarenai Episode 12 will be the final episode of this season, with no second season on the way. Though it can get one in the future, the show felt like a promotion for manga rather than its own thing. Not that promotion animes are bad, but they hardly get new seasons unless the demand is too high or the anime makes a good profit. And given how lax the anime has been throughout, even in the last episode, I don’t think we will get another. Though, the snowman igloo is one thing I wish to be in.

The admission is also marked as a change in Aharen’s character, showing she has grown a little as a character. However, her confession has gained Raido a rival who wishes to challenge him. The said rival was about from the entirety of the episode, not appearing where they usually do. It is by the end of the episode we see Mitsuki training. The last episode will be the dual for Aharen’s affection.

What is Aharen-San Wa Hakarenai about?
The story shows the school life of Raido and Reina Aharen. Raido has an angry and mean-looking face, which people think of as a delinquent. And Reina Aharen is not good at boundaries, and in-process, tries to distance herself from people. Their friendship begins when Raido goes to his new school and gets the same treatment on the first as he always has. Adjacent to his desk sits Aharen, who isn’t much bothered by him. When he later talks to her, he learns how her lack of distance isolates her from people. Seeing this, he gets an idea and volunteers to help her set boundaries. In return, he can also work on his responses with her.
