Deaimon Episode 9 Release Date: Itsuka’s Birthday?

Deaimon Episode 9

The series continues to be a surprise every week. Though the series focuses on everyday life and a character-driven narrative, it never feels repetitive. Deaimon of episode 9 will continue with its trajectory. The last episode sheds light on Nagomu and Kanoko’s circumstances and their life in Tokyo. Despite being aloof, Nagomu is a breath of fresh air in the protagonists’ department. The writer clarifies that he is a good person and doesn’t suffer from nice guy syndrome. In his city life, his encounter with Kanoko and her reasons for liking him are simple. They had an excellent dynamic back in the city, so good she still wants to pursue a relationship with him.

It was sad to see them break up over a misunderstanding, or not communicating well over Nagomu’s family letter. In episode 9 of Deaimon, their relationship will take a back seat as Itsuka retakes the main stage. Her mother is also back to meet her over an occasion. How could their interaction is something to be discussed in the next section.

Deaimon Episode 9

This season’s hidden gem continues to shine and will do so in episode 9 of Deaimon. Nagomu is a unique protagonist in his own right, he is not someone who drives the plot but helps others reach their conclusion. It has happened with every character that is around his age or younger. The tension between Nagomu and Itsuka’s mother was handled well by him, steering the whole episode in a good vibe. The author has made his character well and hides his charm well. True, he can do something about his clumsiness, but character faults make the character likable. Nagomu may be relatable to very few but he is the show’s standout.

Episode 9 of Deaimon preview shows Nagomu asking Itsuka about her birthday and her mother appearing in the end. While there was no doubt that it would go that way, the other important part was the presence of Mitsuru. She hasn’t gotten much chance to appear as much. Though her appearance is sparse it’s done just right. Will there be something special about her being in the next episode?

What is Deaimon about?

Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness is a slice-of-life anime that focuses on a character working at Wagai shop in Kyoto. Nagomu Irino is the son of the sweet shop owner who had come back after learning about his father’s failing health. He leaves behind his city life, he had pursued his dreams but went nowhere, and the news of his father was the final nail in the coffin. However, when he returns, his father is fit and well (and getting punched by him). After his mother clarifies the misunderstanding, he gets over it and renounces he is ready to take over the family business. His father denies that, saying they already have a successor, a ten-year-old girl named Itsuka Yukihira. An abandoned child with nowhere to go. Nagomu’s mother pleads with him to be a father figure to her, to which he complies, but Itsuka doesn’t see him in that light. Rin Asano is the creator of the manga. She is the writer as well as the leading illustrator of the series. Studio Encourage Films adapted the series for anime.
